Announcing Newest Public Relations Client to Get Galvanized
Galvanized Strategies proudly announces the newest public relations client to join our roster, Educational Enrichment Systems.
Unfortunately, the State of California’s budgetary instability may mean EES loses as much as 95 percent of its budget affecting 6,200 children and 150 employees, resulting in higher welfare enrollment and unemployment.
The leadership behind EES is proud of the stability, innovation, and quality it’s been bringing to the early childhood education of San Diego children for 30 years. One of the great challenges facing low-income families is finding quality childcare for their children.
Childcare is the linchpin in a family’s future, allowing parents to work while knowing their children are well taken care of and on the right path for subsequent success in their educational careers.
The majority of funding for EES programs is provided by the California Department of Education.
Given the low reimbursement rate from the state, EES often reaches out to local community foundations and residents to be able to increase the quality of preschool care for our communities’ most needy children. Other funding comes from the USDA Child Care Food Program, parent tuition, private foundations, and individual donations. EES is certified by the San Diego Chapter of United Way.
The organization counts many influential San Diegans as friends, including former NBA star Bill Walton, who in this video featuring District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis and Senator Mark Wyland, R-38, urged Governor Brown to find ways to maintain this vital resource.
