Erica Holloway, who founded Galvanized Strategies, is a strategic communications and stakeholder engagement leader with more than 25 years of experience advising Fortune 500 companies, energy organizations, and public-sector initiatives. Based in Houston, she currently serves as Stakeholder Relations Manager for ERCOT and SPP markets at The AES Corporation, where she leads community engagement, stakeholder outreach, and communications strategy across key energy markets.
Known for her expertise in media relations, executive coaching, and public affairs, Erica has built a career at the intersection of energy, policy, and public perception. Her background spans journalism, government, political consulting, and corporate communications, giving her a unique ability to navigate complex issues and connect authentically with diverse audiences.
Prior to joining The AES Corporation, Erica served as Public and Government Affairs Advisor for ExxonMobil Environmental & Property Solutions and as Vice President, Energy at Edelman. Throughout her career, she has specialized in supporting energy majors, renewable energy initiatives, and climate-focused campaigns as a spokesperson, strategist, and trusted advisor.
Erica’s work has earned numerous industry honors, including Emmy Awards, PRSA recognition, and “40 Under 40” distinctions in both Houston and San Diego. She is also active in industry and community organizations, including the Southeastern Wind Coalition and Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy.
